Chandan and Rudraksh- Tree Plantation

Tree plantation of Chandan and Rudraksh trees was carried out by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Kundan International School, Sector 46 B, Chandigarh. Shri CA Prem Garg (Chairman My Tree Foundation), Shri Arunesh Aggarwal (President Bharat Vikas Parishad), Shri Ajay Kaushik (Advisor Hindu Mahaparv Sabha), Shri V.K. Sarna (Sr. Vice President Hindu Mahaparv Sabha) and Shri L.C. Bajaj (Vice President Hindu Mahaparv Sabha) participated enthusiastically and planted fifteen Chandan trees and one Rudraksh tree in the school campus. Col. (Dr.) Rajesh Jasial, Director and Mrs. Manjeet Jauhar, Principal along with the science teachers Ms. Aradhana Sharma and Ms. Chander Prabha promised to take care of the trees and participated in the tree plantation in the school campus.

Hand washing and Importance of Oral Hygiene

To raise awareness about the Health and Hygiene among young children, Rotary and Rotaract Club Chandigarh Midtown in association with IDA Mohali conducted an online Webinar on Hand washing and Importance of Oral Hygiene for the students of Classes Nursery to V of Kundan International School.

The objective of the webinar was to make the students understand the importance of basic hygiene to keep themselves fit and healthy. Presentations on the proper tooth brushing techniques, nail – trimming, hand washing and importance of hygiene during COVID -19 were creatively presented and explained by Dr. Poonam Sood. Students were able to imbibe the benefits of hygiene at an early age which will help them to lead a healthy life in future.

Principal Mrs. Manjeet Jauhar made it possible for the instrumentalisation of this webinar. She applauded the effort s of Dr. poonam Sood and urged the students to apply the given instructions in their everyday life for a healthy future.

Independence Day Celebrations

Kundan International School celebrated Independence Day with zeal and patriotism. Principal, Mrs. Manjeet Jauhar welcomed the School Director (Dr.) Colonel Rajesh Jasial. The National Flag was hoisted by the Principal of the school. The celebration was attended by Director, Principal and the staff of Kundan International School.
The staff members sang patriotic songs. It was an enriching experience for the teachers who cherished the value of freedom and patriotism. Colonel Rajesh Jasial in his address, urged the teachers to work with utmost devotion and sincerity to achieve their goals.

Tree Plantation Drive

A tree plantation drive was carried out by Interact Club at Kundan International School, sector 46 B, Chandigarh to mark the month of Van Mahotsav. Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, President, Mrs. Sudha Puri & Mr. A.K. Puri (Ex- President), and Mr. Amarjeet Singh, (Ex- President) Rotary Club, Midtown, Chandigarh along with Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Jain (Member of Shri Kundan Lal Trust) participated enthusiastically and planted a variety of different species of trees in the school campus. Mrs Manjeet Jauhar, Principal along with the science teachers Ms Aradhana, Ms Prabha and Ms Sabita were also a part of tree plantation drive in the school campus.

Class X Kundan Results
16 July 2020

Kundan International School Chandigarh has a reason to hold its head high in pride as the outgoing students of class X preformed exceedingly well in the CBSE Board Examination. Shreya Muskan scored 92%, Saurav Saswat Samantaray 91.2%, Shivang Dang 90.4% and Muskan Negi 90.2% respectively and brought laurels to the school. Fifteen students scored 80% and above. The excellent result reflects the commitment, persistence and hard work of the students and the faculty.

Principal Mrs Manjeet Jauhar applauded the efforts of the students for their great achievement and congratulated them on their well deserved success. She commended the hard work and motivation of the teachers in guiding the students.

Class X Kundan Results

The students of Kundan International School performed brilliantly in the CBSE Class XII Examinations 2019-20. Jesica Garg of class XII scored 91% and Jayati Kanday scored 80.6% through their perseverance and hard work. The excellent result reflects the dedication, tenacity and hard work of the students and the faculty.

 The Principal Mrs. Manjeet Jauhar applauded the efforts of the faculty, students and their parents for such an excellent result. She congratulated the students for their determination and hard work for their success.
